Ellsworth had more turnovers than Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau. The Panthers even had less first downs than G-E-T. Despite that, the Panthers converted several big plays into touchdowns in a 53-8 victory Friday, Sept. 17.

The Panthers turned the ball over four times to G-E-T's three and had less first downs at 15-13. The Panthers severely outgained G-E-T in rushing, 213 to 69 yards.

Jack Janke threw a touchdown and picked off a pass, returning it for a touchdown. Both occurred in the first quarter. From there the Panthers steadily kept increasing its lead.

Max Grand ran for 106 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Ashten Quade rand for 85 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. Bo Hines rushed for 25 yards on three attempts and scored once.

Ellsworth (4-0) next travels Friday, Sept. 24 to take on Osceola.
