He’s in! Senior Marcus Banks shows the referee the ball, signifying the successful two-point conversion against the Lake City on Friday, Oct. 16. Banks would rush for 105 yards and two touchdowns on nine attempts in the game.

Cannon Falls Senior Marcus Banks will play in the Minnesota All-Star Showcase with the state's best football players. 

The game is hosted by the Minnesota Vikings and will be on June 26. Banks will play outside linebacker in the game for the South All-Star team.

Banks was named the Most Valuable Player of the Southeast Red District this season. 

Banks helped lead the Bombers to a Section 4AAA title this fall against St. Croix Lutheran Academy. In the game, Banks had 10 rushes for 104 yards and three touchdowns. 

Banks led the Bombers in rushing attempts (77), rushing yards (597) and rushing touchdowns (12). Defensively, Banks had 39 tackles and three forced fumbles.

Joining Banks from his section is Litchfield QB Ben Alsleben, Richfield QB Ryan Miles, Waseca DL Marcus Hansen, and Luverne OL Zach Ahrendt.
