This week, students and teachers head back to school. Most schools in the state either started the previous school with cohorts, everyone in masks, distance learning or both.

Similar to the beginning of the previous school year, COVID-19 cases are rising. Despite a vaccine available for everyone above the age of 12-years-old, many districts are recommending, but not requiring masks.

As is federal law, all schools must comply with all students or staff wearing masks while on district transportation.

Read how each school in the area is approaching the 2021-2022 school year in regards to mask requirements.
