Goodhue County Health and Human Services announced Monday there has been 129 new cases of COVID-19 reported since last week.

Active cases dropped by three from week-to-week, while cases requiring hospitalization increased by four. There were no deaths reported. 

Red Wing makes up 28% of the total COVID-19 cases in the county by city. Cannon Falls is second with 18% with Kenyon not far behind in third with 17%. 

25,208 people have completed their vaccine series as well.

The following information was released by the Goodhue County Health and Human Services Department on Sept. 7.

  • Total positive cases: 5,327
  • Total confirmed (PCR test): 5,160
  • Total probable (Antigen test): 167
  • Active cases: 142

  • Patients no longer in isolation: 5,109

  • Total cases requiring hospitalization: 247

  • Total cases admitted to the ICU: 59

  • Cases currently hospitalized: 6

  • Deaths: 76
