NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ENACT GOODHUE COUNTY CASCADE CANOE & KAYAK ACCESS RULES ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Goodhue, Minnesota will hold a public hearing via telephone or other electronic means as described below on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. at the Goodhue County Board Room, 509 W 5th Street, Room 308, Red Wing, Minnesota, to consider the enactment of the Proposed Goodhue County Cascade Canoe & Kayak Access Rules Ordinance defining the intent of the facility; establishing hours of operation; regulating parking and pets; specifying prohibited activities; and other matters. This Ordinance is intended to support and promote the health, welfare, and safety of the public. Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, the public hearing will be conducted by telephone or other electronic means during the regular County Board Meeting and will begin at 9:00 a.m. The public may participate in the public hearing from a remote site by logging into, or by calling 1-877-309-2073 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Access Code: 470-371-133. Due to a previously advertised notice prior to the County Board changing to a virtual meeting option, the public may also participate in the public hearing by attending the County Board Meeting in person.
