The house’s estimated value is $300,000, Coldwell Banker-Nybo & Associates said. The list price is $230,000 and there is no over-bidding.
The final sale price will be $230,000. Applications must be submitted by noon on July 2, 2021.
The Cannon Falls Housing Initiative Board will select the buyer and a backup buyer. Buyers should work with a lender that is approved by First Homes of Rochester, see the attached list and buyers must be pre-approved before submitting an application.
The home is available through the Cannon Falls Housing Initiative, Inc. They are a non-profit corporation made up of local business people and retired residents. The goal is to provide affordable housing to low-andmoderate-income buyers. This is the organization's fifth house in the Community Land Trust and the 15th house through the high school construction program in Cannon Falls.
One of the ways that they have been able to accomplish their mission is to partner with First Homes of Rochester. It is a community land trust.
