COTTAGE GROVE - Homes could be going up as soon as snowflakes stop flying on Mississippi Dunes Boulevard.

The Mississippi Dunes development, built on Hadley Avenue, 95th and 100th streets, will add its last 44 homes this year.

The single-family homes will match the rest of the development started over a decade ago.

The 44 homes were originally approved in 2003 with the rest of the residential development, and will be under construction as soon as weather allows.

The site was graded in 2003 along with the development's first phase of construction. The last phase was done in 2013.

The City Council approved the plan in the consent agenda at the April 4 meeting.
